The Government of Spain has invested in Moratalla 1,482,985 euros in 26 projects creating 145 jobs
Rafael González Tovar and Juan Llorente have visited this afternoon the three works carried out under the Local Investment Fund in the town of Benizar.
These actions have had a combined value of EUR 121,527 and created 11 jobs.
The works consisted in placing new paving on the streets of the town of Benizar (59,849 euros), the replacement of public lighting in the central plaza which has demolished the current source and installing a lamp post with three arms ( 8,322 euros) and the construction of a multipurpose store seventy square meters (53,357 euros).
Tovar Gonzalez recalled that the Government of Spain Moratalla assigned to EUR 1,482,985 in the current State Fund, for which the City Council presented a total of 26 projects.
In addition, he noted that all the projects is creating 145 direct jobs, of which 25 are newly created and 120 persons within enterprises.
The delegate also informed that the new State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability to be invested in 2010, will involve a further economic boost for the city of 910,696 euros.
"Overall, has clarified the Government-Moratalla delegate of the Government of Spain receives about 2.5 million euros in two years: the largest investment in Moratalla by any government in such a short time and which clearly reflects the will municipalist President Zapatero. "
