La llamada de urgencia se produjo a las 00.25 horas, procedente del Centro de Salud, en la que se informaba que había un individuo disparando a facultativos del Centro.

The emergency call came at 00.25 hours, from the Health Center, which reported that there was a guy shooting at the faculty of the Centre.

 

Inmediatamente 3 agentes de la Policía Local se desplazaron al Centro Médico y lograron reducir y posteriormente detener al vecino de la localidad que responde a las iniciales PNM, de 73 años de edad.

En el momento de la detención este individuo portaba un revólver de la marca Astra, del calibre 32.

Arma con la efectuó 5 disparos, hiriendo gravemente a una médico residente, natural de Cehegín, Murcia, y que responde a las iniciales MEMM, de 35 años de edad; así como al conductor de la ambulancia, vecino de Moratalla, JMML, de 40 años de edad.

Se hace constar que al encontrarse herido el conductor de la ambulancia, y dada la gravedad de las heridas de la citada médico, un agente de la Policía Local acompañado de la ATS de guardia transportaron urgentemente a la herida al Hospital Comarcal del Noroeste (Caravaca) en el coche patrulla policial.

A los pocos minutos de la detención del autor de los disparos, por parte de la Policía Local, compareció una patrulla de la Guardia Civil, que se hizo cargo del detenido y de las diligencias oportunas, avisando a un equipo especializado de la Policía Judicial, y siendo trasladado el detenido a dependencias de la Guardia Civil para su posterior puesta a disposición de la autoridad judicial.
