Feria de San Miguel de Moratalla 2014 "Conquering Moratalla" (25/09/2014)

La Feria de San Miguel 2014, to be held in Moratalla on 27, 28 and 29 September, this year has many attractions that will happen over three intense days, where visitors can enjoy activities, craft workshops, historical reenactments and live music.

Antonio Garcia presented and unveiled the program of activities of the Feria de San Miguel 2014, which highlighted the many events and activities for young and old, who during the days of the fair will be carried out.

"Visitors can enjoy the space falconry, tables of popular games, archery, boat Wood and inflatable medieval castle and craft workshops, where we can see live how pieces of jewelry, leather, basketry are manufactured and textiles, and how objects are carved glass and forgings are made, "said the Mayor.

Antonio Garcia said that this show is co-funded by the LEADER program, the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), whose leitmotif is "Europe investing in rural areas."

He stressed that this is one of the main programs of European support for the future of rural areas, and shares with the Fair includes fostering the tourism development by the natural and cultural wealth of the territory in value as well as initiatives to recover conserve heritage and traditions.

It also thanked all establishments, companies, individuals and municipal associations working with the organization and implementation of this event.

During the presentation, the Mayor was accompanied by Francisco Muñoz, the entertainment company specializing in medieval markets Bavaria Productions, responsible for coordination and organization of this year's fair.

Moratalla Francisco Muñoz added that "it is a city that stands out especially for its natural and historical heritage.
