"VI course of prehistoric art" of the International University of the Sea (15/05/2014)

The Mayor of Moratalla, Antonio García Rodríguez, presented this morning in the hall of the City Hall "Course VI Prehistoric Art" that impart Sea International University's headquarters in Moratalla from 22 to 25 July 2014.

With this new edition, aims to consolidate the recovery of Moratalla Headquarters of the International University of the Sea, after the return of the town last year, this program and summer activities.

The Mayor was accompanied by Martin D. Fernando Rubio, Vice President of Strategic Development and Training, University of Murcia, and Ms.

Mari Carmen Martinez Graciá, Director of International University of the Sea;

and by Dr. D. Miguel Angel Mateo Saura, who co-directs the course by the professor of the University of Murcia, José Miguel Noguera Celdran, and Ms.

Juana María Blázquez Sánchez, Councillor for Education and Culture of the City of Moratalla, who expressed his deep appreciation to value our rock art and believe in the benefits and suitability which is conducting this course in Moratalla.

Appreciation has been extended to many brilliant people who taught their lessons in the course and students enrolled, whose presence is of vital importance for our country, for they are the best ambassadors of our cultural heritage, and active elements for future conservation.

According to the Mayor of Moratalla, beyond their enormous intrinsic value from an academic point of view, the conclusion of this course represents the achievement of several key objectives for the municipality;
