Thanks to the extraordinary liquidity measures have been received today, the City of Moratalla paid payrolls that were pending to pay their workers.
Workers were to be three payrolls in June 2011 when the current municipal government took office amounting to € 510,153.09 in 2013 was paid arrears of payroll and today were paid workers arrears of € 285,000.00 that still outstanding.
This has made possible the inclusion of the City of Moratalla in the extraordinary liquidity measures by the Ministry of Finance and Public Administration, it has been necessary to make a huge effort to make budgetary control and adjustment plans that have been requested by the Ministry.
Remember that although this situation has been the provision of municipal services, with much effort but without compromising quality.
And that has been paid to suppliers over 6,000,000 € of outstanding debts that the municipal government was found in June 2011.
The rigor and seriousness to tackling the government has allowed us to enjoy right now the liquidity necessary to meet the payment of salaries of workers and of the loans that we had to arrange to pay suppliers.
Obtaining this liquidity fund that has allowed all municipal workers to cash their payroll had to be approved by the governing group alone because the opposition groups refused to approve these measures that will allow the City to continue working with normally during the coming years.
