The Governing Council approved the declaration of a Cultural Heritage Feast of drums or drum Moratalla and Mula.
The tradition of touching the drum or drums Mula has the same origins, historical development and current manifestation of Moratalla, and take place every year as part of the Easter holiday.
The origins of the Tamborada of Mula, of National Tourist Interest, go back to the late thirteenth century and is celebrated from twelve Holy Tuesday night until four in the evening of Holy Wednesday.
The Tamborada of Moratalla, Regional Tourist Interest, has been held since the seventeenth century on Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
