Has successfully completed the "Self Defense Workshop" held at the Centers for Secondary Education "IES Pedro García Aguilera" and "Jesus Aparecido College, scheduled 25N occasion of International Day Against Violence Against Women from the Agency Equality and the Local Police of Moratalla.
The main objective of this workshop was to inform, raise awareness and prevent Gender Violence.
To do this boys and girls of the aforementioned centers have received theoretical information about what domestic violence, types of violence, what is domestic violence, statistics on violence against women, and the protocol for local police to such situations.
On the other hand, participated in a practical class on self defense techniques to be used only in situations of risk.
With the implementation of such actions, the Department of Women and the Equality Authority contributes to the equality of education / the younger ones, and this is a fundamental step for the prevention of violence against women.
