For the second consecutive year, the Department of Women, through the Equality Authority has called tenders for primary education and secondary-school to celebrate the November 25th International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. "
Students of Primary and Secondary-Secondary Education, the schools of the municipality may participate in contests "Drawing coeducational" and "Phrases for Equality" respectively.
These contests are intended to reflect the students on the issue of violence against women, while education is to promote non-violent.
In addition, students will have the opportunity to express values of respect, equality and solidarity, and their rejection of violence against women.
This action is part of the programming of the first Plan for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men in the great objective of comprehensively address the social problem of violence against women.
Undoubtedly, the change starts from the commitment and effort to value education, an education in equality.
Thus, the City of Moratalla, through the Department of Education and Women and the Equality Authority, welcomes the involvement of educational institutions of the municipality in this action to raise awareness and rejection of violence against women.
