In addition to collaborating to reconcile work with family life, this project offers children different ways to have fun learning with workshops and activities of a social, educational-cultural, sports and recreational nature, and thus foster positive coexistence And the acquisition of values ​​as important as respect, friendship, equality and solidarity.

In that sense, it is worth noting the visit of Ángel García, president of the Association of Deaf People of Caravaca and Northwest Region of Murcia (ASSOR) to raise awareness and awareness about the importance of sign language in our society.

Ángel explained to our children the importance of all of us knowing sign language and teaching them basic concepts such as greetings, colors, days of the week, etc.

But what Angel did not know was that he was going to meet with 56 children who, in the days prior to his visit, had worked hard to learn different signs so that they could greet him and welcome him to the Summer School.

Here you have the example that the Moratalla Summer School is more than a space for recreation and support to families, it is also a space for the personal growth of our children.

Soon new editions will start in both Moratalla helmet and in districts.
