In Moratalla, mobile operators Telefonica, Vodafone and Orange will soon begin offering services on the 4G network in the 800MHz band, which will allow pilots to enjoy high-speed mobile connections over LTE (4G) technology with a Better coverage in the interior of the buildings and greater geographical extension.
In order to guarantee the compatibility of the new technology with Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT), the operators have launched Llega800, entity in charge of solving any affectation in the reception of the television signal.
The 4G deployment is in line with what is established in Royal Decree 805/2014 in which the frequencies between 790 and 862 MHz (channels 61 to 69 of UHF) were released until then used for the reception of Television Digital Terrestrial, a process also known as Digital Dividend.
Thereafter, these frequencies were assigned to mobile operators to provide their 4G mobile services.
