The painter Antonio Tapia, who now is exposing in the United States with the Collective Cobalt show from this week works from his work 'Guardians of Dreams' in the recondite villages of Benizar, El Sabinar and Calar de la Santa, the municipality of Moratalla with the aim of bringing art to small rooms that are outside the traditional circuits of culture.
The idea is to bring this production to the citizenry that usually does not have time to contemplate in their localities, approaching their school paintings will assume in many cases their first contact with an art exhibition.
Antonio Tapia just exhibit in Los Angeles with the Cobalt group within the exhibition entitled 'Life Cycles', which will also visit Miami, Dallas, San Diego and New York, among other places.
Along with this, the roaming 'Guardians of dreams' is the result of awareness artist bring art to everyone, especially children.
Moratalla alternately sample and for two weeks the exhibition spaces occupy three moratalleros districts.
The starting point is the opening to be held on Friday, November 4, in the hamlet of Benizar.
So, at 18:30 pm at the Social Center C / Alameda s / n, Tapia will show a series of selected works from his collection called 'Guardians of Dreams', which through the dream of a child with more beloved toys tells the metaphor that represents the game against real life and the process of the loss of innocence.
Then the exhibition will also go through the Social Center of Calar de La Santa, in the C / Square s / n, Friday November 11 at 19:00 AM and end on Friday November 25 at 19:00 h in the Sabinar in the room schools of the C / Maroto 10.
It will also make educational visits with students from schools in which the school can participate in the raffle of a painting by the artist.
This idea of ​​Antonio Tapia after exposing his works in the Hall of the former Convent of San Francisco de Moratalla where, together with the Department of Education and Women, promoted the tour of students from schools in the population.
Given the great success that meant it was agreed to bring the paintings to the most populated districts of the large municipality, to facilitate direct contact with plastic school achievements of the painter and, incidentally, also the rest of the neighbors.
The exhibition is organized by the Department of Culture and Department of Education and Women's Hall of Moratalla.
