The treatment plant will have a capacity Sabinar treatment to serve 1,000 inhabitants (07/07/2016)

The CEO Water, Andres Martinez, visited the works of construction of the wastewater treatment plant of El Sabinar, in the municipality of Moratalla, which will have a treatment capacity to serve 1,000 inhabitants and whose completion is expected today later this year.

The infrastructure has a budget of 1,120,000 euros and covers aspects such as the construction of a sanitation collector 900 meters long, from the town of El Sabinar to the treatment plant.

The treatment plant will have a chest pumping pumps wastewater discharge;

Pretreatment with dual channel roughing and a chest of distribution;

bioreactors equipped oxidation systems, agitation and secondary decanting;

tertiary treatment;

sand filter and disinfection hypochlorite and ultraviolet radiation;

sludge treatment system comprising recirculation and pumping both floating and excess sludge and sludge thickening system gravity.

It also has a building that will house office, warehouse, interior to the generator, as well as operational control room, among other elements.

The CEO noted "the significant investment effort" that the Ministry of Water, Agriculture and Environment developed in the municipality of Moratalla in sanitation and sewage treatment, which also is finalizing the construction of the treatment plant Otos, the completion and commissioning is scheduled for August.

These actions fall within the objectives of the second General Plan of sanitation and treatment of Murcia 2015 -2020, which aims to integrate all urban areas in the purification system.
