The Civil Guard in the region of Murcia has developed the operation 'CAN' to investigate the violent sacrifice of two hunting dogs in an area of ​​Moratalla, the result of which have been investigated two people on suspicion of felony animal abuse resulting death.

This information was provided to specialists Nature Protection Service (SEPRONA) of the Civil Guard who went to the site to respond to the alert generated by citizens through 'Alercops'.

The Civil Guard has identified the inhabitants of the house, two men, 40 and 49, residents of Archena and Moratalla, respectively, one owner of slaughtered animals, which have been investigated as suspected of the crime of animal abuse resulting death.

The investigation ended with the withdrawal and deposit used a hunting rifle allegedly to kill the dogs.

Persons under investigation and the proceedings initiated have been made available to the Court of Instruction No. 1 of Caravaca de la Cruz (Murcia).
