| "Given the lack of Civil Guard troops in the Northwest" | The lack of personnel in the Civil Guard Barracks of the Northwest Region, is generating a serious problem of insecurity in the citizens, because at present there are not enough patrols to cover the security and surveillance needs in Moratalla and its districts , as well as in the rest of the region.This same week, thefts have occurred again in industrial warehouses in Moratalla, which is causing a climate of unprecedented insecurity among residents and businessmen.From the Municipal Group of the PP we have been denouncing this situation for several years, without the Mayor of Moratalla, Jesús Amo, nor the Government Delegate, nor the Government of Spain, having put solutions to this very serious problem of citizen insecurity .In March 2018, the Municipal Group of the PP presented a motion to the Plenary, for greater vigilance to be carried out and more resources to be provided to the Local Police and Civil Guard, in order to prevent robberies in the municipality.In January 2019, due to the wave of robberies, we again asked the Mayor to urge the Government Delegation to provide more troops to the Moratalla Civil Guard Barracks.In February 2019, we presented a new motion to the plenary session, so that the negotiations could be carried out before the Government Delegation in Murcia, with the aim of allocating a budget for the construction of a new Civil Guard Barracks in Moratalla and more troops will be provided in order to increase surveillance in Moratalla and its districts.In August 2019, we once again asked the Mayor to carry out the procedures before the Government Delegation in Murcia, to provide more troops to the Civil Guard Barracks and to build the new Barracks House in Moratalla.We have verified that all these requests have been ignored by the Government of Mr.

Amo, and given the neglect of functions, both by the Socialist Government Team of the Moratalla City Council, the Government Delegate in Murcia and the Ministry of Interior of the Government of Spain, which does not seem to be interested in the safety of the residents of Moratalla and its districts, we are obliged to continue denouncing the passivity and disinterest shown by the Mayor and his government team, since We see how they do not insist enough before the Government Delegation, so that the problem of insecurity that we are suffering in the municipality of Moratalla is solved.Moratalla needs a Mayor who cares about the problems of the neighbors, we do not need a Mayor who is only concerned with ONE PROBLEM, "YOUR RELEASE.
