The Regional Assembly has approved the initiative presented by the Socialist Parliamentary Group in which it requires the regional government to fix the RM-B30 road, access road to Benizar, Otos, Mazuza and Casa Requena, all of them, districts of Moratalla.
The socialist deputy Consa Martínez has defended the motion in the plenary, which has come forward with the abstention of PP and Citizens, and has assured that it is a historical claim of these districts, because by that means they are obliged to pass every day residents of the area, "playing life for the dangerous state in which the road is located".
Consa Martínez recalled that this road has 16 kilometers, of which 3,140 meters correspond to Socovos (Castilla La Mancha), but the rest is the responsibility of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.
"Therefore, it cannot be an excuse for the regional government not to carry out the actions to adapt the road."
He has indicated that the law includes mechanisms to reach agreements between administrations, "because in the end, those who pay for these management problems and are harmed are citizens."
"We demand the regional government to carry out the necessary management procedures for the change of ownership of that small section and to begin as soon as possible the repair works of the road, because the inhabitants of these districts deserve to be resolved once and for all this historical problem, "he concluded.
