Two people have been arrested as alleged perpetrators of drug trafficking
Different amounts of cocaine, hashish and marijuana have been seized during the search
Other effects related to drug trafficking have been seized, such as a precision scale, tools and packaging for the preparation of doses and cash, among others.
The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia and the Local Police of Moratalla have developed the operation 'Pisón', an investigation established to prosecute drug trafficking, which has resulted in the dismantling of a point of sale of narcotic substances at retail.
In the search carried out in the house, the two young people who allegedly carried out the criminal activity and have seized different types of drugs arranged for distribution have been arrested.
The operation began last February, when investigators were alerted that a large number of people accessed or stayed in the vicinity of a building in Moratalla, apparently to acquire doses of narcotic substances.
The first steps of the investigation were oriented to verify the facts, stating that it was a house located in the old town, which had recently been occupied by a young couple.
The agents intensified the surveillance services in the area to obtain indications about the alleged criminal acts investigated.
The established police mechanisms allowed to verify the supposed commission of the crime of drug trafficking.
Once all the necessary evidence has been obtained and prior judicial authorization, the investigators have made the entry and registration of the property in which they have seized 160 doses of cocaine, 73 grams of marijuana and 20 grams of hashish.
Cash has also been seized, a precision scale, useful for the packaging of the narcotic substance, wrappings and other effects related to drug trafficking.
The development of the 'Pisón' operation has allowed the dismantling of an active retail drug retail outlet in the moratallero municipality, allegedly used to distribute a high number of doses of different types of drugs.
The Spanish detainees, aged 21 and 25, and residents of Moratalla, the drug seized, the effects recovered and the proceedings ordered have been made available to the Court of Instruction of Caravaca de la Cruz (Murcia).
