Citizens continue covering stages to achieve the improvement of the RM-B30 road in the moratallera district of Benizar (30/12/2019)

The deputy Valle Miguélez meets with the socialist mayor of Socovos and will facilitate a three-way meeting to which the Junta de Castilla-La Mancha will join

Citizens continue to advance in the objective of achieving a commitment for the arrangement of RM-B30 as soon as possible, the road between the moratallera district of Benizar with the rest of the network, and part of which runs through the neighboring community of Castilla- La Mancha

In this sense, the meeting held this morning in the Albacete city hall of Socovos between the regional deputy Valle Miguélez and the councilman, Saturnino González, is framed.

“We have agreed that there is a real political will to unblock the situation and move forward to achieve the 3.2-kilometer stretch that runs through the Socovos term,†Miguélez announced after the meeting, held in the town hall of the Albacete municipality.

The first mayor has transmitted to the regional deputy his interest in assigning ownership of the section needed in accordance with the Board of Communities of Castilla-La Mancha, once a bureaucratic procedure is resolved with the cadastre.

"This would unlock the natural solution of the problem, which is none other than getting an agreement between the Board and the regional coalition government that includes the improvement of the road, as well as Benizar's connections with population centers such as Otos and Mazuza" , said Miguélez.

The next step in the process will be a three-way meeting with the mayor of Socovos, the Minister of Public Works, Ignacio Hernando and Miguélez herself.

“If that meeting is helpful, the Socovos Plenary session on January 20 could already even approve the transfer of the local section of the RM-B30 to the Board to be able to agree on the integral arrangement of the road,†said the orange parliamentarian .

Citizens committed to the Association of Neighbors of Benizar last 14 to mediate to unlock a situation that affects its more than 800 residents, once it has already achieved that the regional budgets of 2020 contemplate a specific item for the improvement of the highway.
